North Carolina native and evangelist, the Reverend Billy Graham passed away at the age of 99. Known by many as “America’s Pastor,” the leading evangelist of the 20th century lived a life of purpose and influence. He traveled the world and preached to over 210 million people throughout his life. He met more living presidents than anyone else, and personally counseled at least a dozen, going back to Harry S. Truman. Graham championed the modern evangelistic crusade meeting by embracing the technology of his day–radio, television, and, later, the internet.
